Active Spine and Joint Institute is in search of a dedicated Exercise Specialist to enhance our dynamic team of Chiropractic Physicians, Occupational Therapists, Nurse Practitioners, and Exercise Specialists. This full-time role is pivotal in delivering exceptional care to our patients.
About Our Organization:
Active Spine and Joint Institute is a multidisciplinary facility committed to providing non-invasive, drug-free treatments aimed at alleviating pain and restoring activity levels. With over three decades of service, we operate multiple locations and are continuously growing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
- Conduct Functional Movement Screenings.
- Support patients with various therapeutic modalities.
- Facilitate orthotic fittings.
- Provide patient education on rehabilitation techniques.
- Monitor patient vitals.
- Demonstrate knowledge of rehabilitation exercises.
- Effectively communicate rehabilitation exercises to patients.
- Oversee floor activities and ensure equipment maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Exercise Science or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in fitness is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to motivate and instruct patients effectively.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
