Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at OhioHealth. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret and prepare pharmacy products for patient use, taking into account patient age and other relevant factors.
  • Compound and label medications, and distribute them to patients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Process refill requests for non-monitored pharmacy medications, such as enteral products and respiratory medications.
  • Document the distribution of medications for proper use and reimbursement, in accordance with department policy.
  • Participate in production, packaging, record-keeping, and stocking tasks.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Registered as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to work well in an interdisciplinary team.
  • Adaptable and flexible.
