Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN/LPN)Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Friendship Village Chesterfield. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to residents in a 24-hour operation and delegate and supervise the care provided by nursing assistants.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications, perform treatments and procedures, obtain specimens as needed, and complete documentation as required.
  • Provide daily supervision and leadership to assigned staff and directly provide nursing care to residents as assigned.
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living, family/social activities, and actively promote independent lifestyle of residents.
  • Initiate the individual plan of care based on health care goals, physician's orders, and nursing assessments.
  • Assure that the unit and resident room areas are maintained in a clean and safe manner for resident comfort and convenience.
  • Maintain work area and keep the department in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
  • Respond to all call lights promptly.
  • Assist in assuring the maximum quality of life for all residents by maintaining privacy, accommodating individual preference, promoting independence, and encouraging participation in facility activities and events.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with a current State of Missouri license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
