Job Title: Registered Nurse - Part-Time Night Shift

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a strong positive attitude toward customer service to join our team at Friendship Village, a premier Life Plan Community located in St. Louis.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will provide direct nursing care to residents in a 24-hour operation and delegate and supervise the care provided by nursing assistants. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in geriatric care and be able to motivate while maintaining relationships with staff and residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments and procedures, and obtaining specimens as needed.
  • Delegate and supervise the care provided by nursing assistants.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in assisting in the daily operation of the nursing department.
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living, family/social activities, and promote independent lifestyle of residents.
  • Initiate the individual plan of care based on health care goals, physician's orders, and nursing assessments.
  • Record vital signs, nourishment logs, and other patient records as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Respond to all call lights promptly.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with a current State of Missouri license.
  • Strong positive attitude toward customer service.
  • Genuine interest in geriatric care.
  • Ability to motivate while maintaining relationships with staff and residents.
