Pediatric Dietitian

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Dietitian to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent in Indiana. As a Pediatric Dietitian, you will provide medical nutrition therapy and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments for patients. You will assess patients for nutritional status, provide interventions and treatments, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Provide medical nutrition therapy and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments
- Assess patients for nutritional status and provide interventions and treatments
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Monitor tolerance and effectiveness of nutritional regimen and recommend therapy adjustments as necessary
- Provide nutrition information for the community through public speaking, news releases, and other forms of publications
- Research and resolve nutrition care-related complaints and problems
- Assist in monitoring meals, including intake, diet compliance, and tray accuracy
- Dietitian/Nutritionist credentialed from the Commission on Dietetic Registration and from the Indiana Dietitians Certification Board
- Advanced Life Support certification preferred
- BLS Provider certification preferred
- Educator specializing in Diabetes Management preferred
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
