Connect with your Talent Advisor for additional specifics.Responsibilities Provide medical nutrition therapy and evaluates effectiveness of treatments.Assess patients for nutritional status. Provide interventions/treatments including diet therapy, counseling or specialized nutrition supplements.Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and ancillary services such as speech pathology or physical therapy.Monitor tolerance and effectiveness of nutritional regimen and recommends therapy adjustments as necessary. Provide medical nutrition therapy and evaluates effectiveness of treatments.Provide nutrition information for the community that may include public speaking, news releases and other forms of publications.Research and take initiatives to resolve nutrition care related complaints and problems.Assist in monitoring meals including intake, diet compliance, and tray accuracy. Maintain sanitation of food preparation area(s) through planned and unannounced inspections.Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:One or more of the following required:Dietitian/Nutritionist credentialed from the Commission on Dietetic Registration and from the Indiana Dietitians Certification Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Dietitian/Nutritionist credentialed from the Indiana Dietitians Certification Board and from the Commission on Dietetic Registration obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.BLS Provider preferred.
