Medical Specialist

We are seeking LPNs/LVNs, Paramedics, and EMTs to join our team at our Plasma Donation Center. As a Medical Specialist, you will be responsible for performing physical examinations, establishing medical histories, and determining donor suitability. You will also build rapport with donors, ensure donor and staff confidentiality, and provide donor education.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing physical examinations and establishing medical histories to determine donor suitability
- Building rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction
- Ensuring donor and staff confidentiality
- Providing donor education regarding general health and counseling regarding unacceptable test results
- Evaluating and managing donor injuries and adverse events
- Assisting in employee training and administering the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program
Requirements include:
- Education and current certification/licensure in the state of employment and according to state requirements as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or Emergency Medical Technician
- Current CPR certification
