Job Summary

The Medical Physicist plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate delivery of therapeutic radiation in our Radiation Oncology department. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Radiation Oncologists, Dosimetrists, and Radio Therapists to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performance specification, acceptance testing, and commissioning of new radiation therapy equipment.
  • Development and maintenance of quality assurance programs for all treatment modalities, localization procedures, and computational equipment.
  • Maintenance of all instrumentation required for calibration of sources, measurement of radiation, and calibration of doses.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a Master's or Ph.D. in Medical Physics and be Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
