Clinical Nurse Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Specialty Clinic team at Scott County Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Conduct vital sign checks, weight measurements, and other necessary assessments to monitor patient health.
- Order and coordinate diagnostic tests, lab work, and other medical procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including documentation of treatments, medications, and test results.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and open communication.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A current LPN or RN license in the state of employment.
- Experience working in a clinical setting, preferably in a specialty clinic environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
