Salary expectations range from $124,200 to $138,000, contingent upon experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and a 401(k) plan.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This role entails the direct oversight, assignment, and coordination of activities within the Maintenance Division to ensure a productive workforce that aligns with all divisional, departmental, site, and corporate objectives while adhering to company policies and applicable regulations. You will collaborate with department schedulers and planners to effectively plan and execute work. Additionally, you will provide insights on training, procedural modifications, and other requirements to facilitate the safe and efficient execution of work tasks. Participation as a member of the Emergency Plan team is also expected.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise craft personnel to guarantee that all assigned maintenance tasks are executed safely and effectively by qualified workers, in accordance with plant procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Administer coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations, including the initiation of disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Communicate significant plant and personnel matters to the Maintenance Manager and relevant levels of station management, promoting open dialogue and collaboration across all organizational levels.
  • Ensure effective dissemination of company programs, announcements, and policies to assigned employees, while also facilitating feedback from them.
  • Engage in various aspects of work control, coordination, scheduling, and engineering meetings to ensure that assigned work is properly allocated, planned, and ready for execution.
  • Support and implement all Maintenance processes, including training programs, surveillance initiatives, procedure updates, and corrective action plans to enhance work practices.
  • Oversee vendor inspections and repairs of plant equipment, ensuring the effective procurement and utilization of materials, parts, tools, and equipment.
  • Participate in all facets of Maintenance Department management to support the safe and efficient operation of the plant, including the development and monitoring of corporate, site, and divisional business objectives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in the craft being supervised.
  • Completion of a positive Leadership Assessment (FLS).
  • Compliance with ANSI requirements for site Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and planning abilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Successful completion of core supervisory and management training programs.
  • Possession of a 2-year technical degree.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
  • Proficient use of electronic work management systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in nuclear power plant operations.
