Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Guest Service: Deliver next-level service to internal and external guests, demonstrating our company culture in all interactions.
  • Lead by Example: Foster an environment of support and motivation for Team Members, promoting a positive and productive work atmosphere.
  • Clean and Maintain Facilities: Perform general cleaning tasks, including carpets, windows, gaming machines, offices, restrooms, and outdoors, as directed by the Lead Housekeeper.
  • Follow Procedures and Guidelines: Adhere to checklists, guidelines, and protocols for efficient and clean operation of assigned areas.
  • Attend Pre-Shift Briefings: Participate in pre-shift briefings and arrive on time to ensure a smooth start to the day.
  • Ensure Safety and Compliance: Adhere to OSHA and Hazcom safe work practices, and report any incidents or concerns to management.
  • Assist with Equipment and Supplies: Assist with receiving, distributing, and storing equipment and supplies, and maintain storage areas and equipment.
  • Monitor and Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect equipment and use it correctly to ensure proper maintenance and extend its lifespan.
  • Problem-Solve and Communicate: Resolve problems within your scope of authority and communicate with your supervisor to address issues beyond your scope.
  • Stay Informed and Compliant: Attend required training sessions, obtain and retain required licenses, and perform duties in compliance with local laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or GED certificate is required for this role.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in an environment exposed to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels, and varied light levels, including flashing lights.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Virginia Racing Commission License is required for this role.
