Spanish Language Program Facilitator

Liberty's Promise is seeking a highly motivated and experienced facilitator to lead our after-school program of civic engagement for immigrant youth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching or leading groups, excellent communication and organizational skills, and fluency in Spanish and English.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement 30-minute activities that target each session's theme/main activity with the support and guidance of Liberty's Promise staff.
- Lead groups of immigrant youth, ages 15-21, in a dynamic and engaging manner.
- Submit a short activity report at the end of each session and a final report at the end of the semester.
- Participate in field trips to local community resources and meetings with guest speakers.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience teaching or leading groups.
- Energetic, engaging, and enthusiastic personality.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Dependable and self-motivated individual.
- Knowledge of government and civics.
- Experience working with multicultural youth.
- Commitment to issues of immigration, community involvement, and national strength through diversity.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Able to pass a background check.
This is a contract position with a compensation package of $1,000 at the beginning of the semester and another $1,000 upon receipt of the final report.
