Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Aya Locums is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team in Chanute, KS. This is a temporary assignment, lasting several weeks or months, to fill a staffing gap in a local healthcare facility.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly qualified CRNA to provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in anesthesia practice, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthesia management, and postoperative pain management.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, surgical teams, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic plans as needed.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
  • Stay current on the latest advancements in anesthesia practice through continuing education.
Requirements:
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CRNA program.
  • Active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Kansas.
  • National certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
  • At least one year of experience in a clinical anesthesia setting.
