Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Aya Locums is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team in Overland Park, KS. This is a temporary assignment, often lasting weeks or months, to fill staffing gaps in healthcare facilities.

Job Summary:

As a CRNA, you will provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthesia management, and postoperative pain management. You will collaborate with surgeons, surgical teams, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery
  • Collaborate with surgeons, surgical teams, and other healthcare providers
  • Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic plans as needed
  • Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records
  • Stay current on the latest advancements in anesthesia practice through continuing education
Requirements:
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CRNA program
  • Active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Kansas
  • National certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
  • At least one year of experience in a clinical anesthesia setting
