Position Summary:
The Facility Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that office and public spaces are maintained in a clean and orderly manner. Key responsibilities include general cleaning and upkeep, event preparation and cleanup, as well as restocking necessary supplies. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments to ensure the cleanliness of all TCAH locations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain cleanliness of building floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
2. Clean windows, mirrors, and chair mats.
3. Sanitize and supply restrooms.
4. Remove waste and empty trash receptacles.
5. Keep a cleaning log to document areas that have been cleaned and inspected.
6. Replenish cleaning supplies, including toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
7. Organize janitorial storage areas.
8. Report any unsafe conditions or necessary repairs to supervisors.
9. Launder TCAH uniforms and other related items.
10. Ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining workplace safety standards.
11. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Custodian Manager.

Position Requirements:
- A strong commitment to the mission of eliminating hunger and promoting food justice.
- At least 1 year of custodial experience.
- A proactive self-starter who works well in a team environment and fosters collaborative relationships.
- Ability to communicate effectively with participants, partner agencies, and staff.
- Flexible and independent in taking initiative.
