Job Summary

The Construction Helper plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of construction sites. As a key member of the team, you will assist construction craft workers and electricians in various tasks, from carrying tools and materials to setting up equipment.

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy objects, as well as work in all weather conditions. If you are a team player with excellent physical stamina and a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist construction craft workers and electricians in various tasks, including carrying tools and materials and setting up equipment.
  • Operate small equipment, such as skid steer loaders, and perform tasks that require physical labor.
  • Assist in the fitting and installation of underground and above-ground tanks, as well as cut and thread steel pipe.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site, ensuring all signs and safety barricades are in place.
  • Comply with all safety requirements, including the use of proper personal protective equipment.
  • Ensure all tools are accounted for, cleaned, and organized on the truck or job trailer.
  • Keep the job inventory accurate and travel to job sites (in-state) as required.
Requirements
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs independently and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to read a blueprint and possess basic understanding of taking measurements, math, and mechanical skills.
  • Must be able to meet company employment requirements, including passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR (if driving for the company).
