Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer II to join our team at Booth and Associates. As a key member of our engineering staff, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of plans, specifications, and inspection reports, as well as preparing material lists and labor contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of plans, specifications, and inspection reports for various engineering projects.
  • Prepare material lists and labor contracts for construction projects.
  • Collaborate with designers and CAD operators to prepare Solar/Wind Farm, Battery Storage, substation, and utility interconnection designs and construction drawings.
  • Administer material purchases and construction contracts.
  • Provide direction to designers and CAD operators on assigned projects.
  • Interact with customers and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain proficiency in a specific area of renewables and/or substation engineering.
  • Supervise work and assist in training of junior engineers.
  • Perform basic functions of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
  • Two to five years of applicable experience required.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required.
  • Pass of PE exam is a plus.
