Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic patient care and support services, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients as needed.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, transferring, and ambulating patients.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration rate.
  • Administer simple treatments, such as enemas, douches, and irrigations, as directed by a licensed nurse.
  • Chart and document patient care and behaviors as required.
  • Participate in patient education and support, including providing information on treatment procedures and visitor hours.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care and a safe and respectful environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience in patient care or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
