UTMB Health is seeking a novice clinician to join our team as a Nurse Clinician I Labor. This entry-level professional nurse will provide safe, basic nursing care in routine and predictable situations, working under the supervision of a preceptor(s). The ideal candidate will possess a basic general knowledge base and be focused on developing knowledge and skills with guidance and direction.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care through nursing practices based upon the American Nurses Association Standards of Professional Practice and Professional Performance.
- Meet standards for professional practice as specified in the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
- Assist, direct, and/or supervise in the provision of patient care.
Requirements:
- GN/RN with current license or valid permit to practice professional nursing in Texas.
- Completion of an accredited basic nursing education program.
- Current BLS required.
