Sanitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a CIP System Operator at our dairy plant. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, operating and monitoring CIP systems, and ensuring the highest quality of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the production area, including equipment, floors, and walls.
- Operate and monitor CIP systems to ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing of equipment.
- Perform manual and hand cleaning of silo and pipeline parts.
- Operate and maintain equipment in the CIP room.
- Receive and store bulk chemicals.
- Maintain accurate written cleaning reports and checklists.
- Clean production hallways and assist in cleaning all plant areas as needed.
- Good understanding of sanitation practices and principles, including manual and automated cleaning.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and hours.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Basic mechanical ability.
- Ability to climb ladders to clean overhead piping.
- Basic computer, reading, and math skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems in the work area with minimal supervision.
This is a wet to damp environment with high pressure hoses, cleaning chemicals, and noisy equipment. Hearing protection is required. Temperatures vary from 35 to 100 degrees.
