Surgical Technologist Job Description

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Job Summary:

The Surgical Technologist will assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain the operating room, including setting up equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in the transfer of patients to and from the operating room.
  • Monitor and maintain aseptic technique during surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical experience.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
