Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for office visits and procedures by collecting and documenting relevant information.
- Assist clinicians with patient care activities, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing diagnostic tests.
- Use electronic medical records to document patient data and communicate with clinicians.
- Provide administrative support to clinicians, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Basic Life Support certification within 1 month of hire.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in an ambulatory care setting.
- Current National Medical Assistant Certification.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
