The Medical Unit Coordinator/Nursing Assistant will play a critical role in supporting our interdisciplinary patient care teams. This position requires a unique blend of clinical knowledge and organizational skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Support patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Perform delegated patient care tasks, including vital signs, medication administration, and wound care
  • Collaborate with unit leadership to coordinate day-to-day activities and ensure efficient operation of the patient care unit
  • Process patient records and maintain accurate documentation

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of KH Health Coordinator training program
  • Successful completion of KH Nursing Assistant Orientation program
  • Certification in CPR/BLS
  • One year of experience as a nursing assistant in a hospital or long-term care facility, or completion of a nursing assistant course within the past six months
  • Current employee with Kettering Health Network (optional)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and function in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills
  • Customer service skills

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. Estimated annual salary: $45,000 - $60,000 based on location and experience. Please note that this is an estimate and actual salaries may vary.
