Computational Biology Researcher

We're seeking a talented Computational Biology Research Intern to join our team at Output Biosciences. As a key member of our research team, you'll work alongside our founders to develop AI systems capable of complex biological reasoning across multiple scales.
Our research focuses on creating biological reasoning and building foundational models for systems biology, harnessing generative AI to revolutionize our understanding and programming of biology from molecules to organisms.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze and integrate large-scale biological datasets using cutting-edge computational techniques
- Develop and optimize data processing pipelines to support our AI modeling efforts
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to integrate bioinformatics approaches into our AI platform
- Contribute to the improvement of our biological data management systems
- Directly impact the development of our biologically-aware AI platform, transforming the landscape of medicine
- Pursuing a degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with bioinformatics tools
- Familiarity with SQL and database management
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Eager to learn and collaborate in a fast-paced startup environment
- Passionate about using data science to unlock the secrets of biology
