The Facilities Manager plays a vital role in ensuring a consistent and enjoyable experience for our customers through direct engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the General Manager and Director of Facilities on operational concerns.
  2. Oversee the scheduling of Zamboni operators and staff for upcoming shifts.
  3. Ensure ice surfaces are maintained at optimal levels for safety and usability.
  4. Delegate tasks to facility staff, supervise their performance, and ensure completion of logs and checklists.
  5. Conduct regular maintenance on mechanical equipment, including chillers, dehumidifiers, and Zamboni machines.
  6. Maintain inventory lists in coordination with the Director of Facilities to ensure adequate supplies.
  7. Manage landscape and snow removal contracts, ensuring quality of work performed.
  8. Assist in evaluating repairs, alterations, and improvements to the facility.
  9. Deliver prompt and friendly service to all team members and customers.
  10. Support staff training and provide consistent assistance to team members.
  11. Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Additional Duties:

  1. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
  2. Adhere to professional conduct and company work hours.
  3. Serve as a welcoming presence for visitors entering the facility.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or college degree preferred.

Experience: Previous experience in ice arena operations is advantageous.


Skills Required:

  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Capability to take responsibility and pride in the work performed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a cold environment.
  • Capacity to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time


Compensation: $40,000 - $50,000 annually
