Plant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned manufacturing leader to oversee product manufacturing operations at our Dayton, OH facility. As Plant Manager, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, meeting customer commitments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance operational efficiency, ensuring customer satisfaction and on-time deliveries
  • Drive results for plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including safety, quality, cost, delivery, absenteeism, training, compliance, and communications
  • Implement a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement to enhance all areas of plant operations
  • Own production operational P&L, budgets, forecasts, and strategy development and implementation
  • Responsible for customer metrics for represented products

Requirements:

  • BA degree required; engineering degree preferred
  • MBA or other advanced degree highly desirable
  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a plant manager role
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives is a plus
