Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and behavioral health needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Provide nursing care and services within the standards and scope of nursing practice, ensuring accurate documentation and communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications, maintain accurate records, and ensure patients' status is assessed on an ongoing basis.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide therapeutic rapport with patients, maintaining professional boundaries and respecting personal space.
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and colleagues, providing direction and coordination as needed.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility to practice nursing in accordance with state requirements.
- One year of nursing experience, with previous psychiatric, mental, behavioral, or substance abuse nursing experience preferred.
- CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
