This role involves providing essential accounting and clerical support to ensure the smooth management of financial records and operations.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

In-Office Requirement

Starting Pay: $18/hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Process outstanding payments efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain an active list of monthly maintenance plans.
  • Address customer service inquiries via email and phone.
  • Communicate with customers regarding payment issues.
  • Conduct collection calls as necessary.
  • Manage filing tasks.
  • Input data into spreadsheets and prepare designated reports.
  • Handle various accounts payable duties, including sorting and matching checks and invoices, processing checks, researching information, and ensuring accurate credit entries.
  • Execute accounts receivable tasks, such as sorting checks, posting payments, preparing bank deposits, and performing basic collection activities.
  • Conduct basic audit functions to verify proper account postings.
  • Draft correspondence to assist in resolving inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Compile daily and weekly reports.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent, with 1-2 years of preferred accounting experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in office administration.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Previous accounting experience and familiarity with basic bookkeeping principles are desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is essential.
  • Knowledge of accounting software is preferred.
