Position Overview
This role involves transporting restroom and shower trailers to various customer sites with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for ensuring that water, drainage, and electrical systems are fully operational during installation. Additionally, you will handle maintenance and cleaning tasks for the trailers throughout the rental period before returning them to a United Site Services branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections, reporting any deficiencies immediately.
- Notify the Mechanic/Operations Supervisor/Manager of any improper operations, faulty equipment, or unusual conditions.
- Operate delivery vehicles to designated work sites based on daily routing information.
- Maintain communication with the Hub Manager or Office Administrator for additional instructions or changes in work locations.
- Deliver and set up comfort stations at event locations, ensuring proper breakdown of all equipment post-event.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during delivery, servicing, or pick-up, including basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC concerns.
- Restock essential supplies such as paper products, hand sanitizer, and soap in serviced units.
- Clean both the interior and exterior of units being serviced.
- Maintain accurate truck logs in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Adhere to all established safety protocols and regulations.
- Participate in special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Proficient decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Valid Driver's License (Class CDL A/B with endorsement).
- Forklift Operator Certification is required.
- Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are encouraged to apply.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit while driving and stand while servicing products.
- Manual dexterity to handle tools and controls effectively.
- Capability to see details of objects at varying distances.
- Clear verbal communication skills for customer interactions.
- Ability to walk for extended periods without fatigue.
- Physical capability to lift and maneuver weights up to 100 lbs.
