Join Our Team: Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough servicing and repairs on a diverse range of fleet vehicles.
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, belt and hose replacements, brake inspections, and tire checks, ensuring all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.
- Identify and rectify mechanical, engine, and electrical issues across various vehicle types.
- Operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles for testing and logistical purposes.
- Manage inventory and procure necessary parts and supplies as required.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical service manuals and repair orders.
- Capable of documenting work orders and purchase orders accurately.
- Strong verbal communication skills for effective interaction with suppliers.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to operate vehicles ranging from 2,000 to 50,000 lbs.
- Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, and climbing.
- Experience using vehicle lifting devices safely and effectively.
Work is conducted in both semi-enclosed and outdoor environments, involving exposure to various elements, including chemicals and noise. A typical work schedule consists of approximately 40 hours per week over a five-day period.
