We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Plasma Center Nurse to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a key member of our medical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our donors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine donor eligibility accurately and in a timely manner, including proper management of informed consent, AIDS education, and confidential self-exclusion.
  • Evaluate and manage donor reaction(s) that occur at the facility, following applicable SOPs.
  • Manage donor deferral, reviewing test results and notifying donors of unsuitable test results per applicable SOPs.
  • Initiate and investigate Post Donation Information (PDI), referring to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs as needed.
Requirements:
  • Currently licensed or certified in the state where duties will be assigned: Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA).
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification required.
  • Fulfillment of state requirements (in state of licensure) for basic IV therapy.
  • Able to satisfactorily complete the FDA-approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
