Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Leidos. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for completing various general and specialized trade skills, including electrical, carpentry, painting, concrete, plumbing, welding, and drywall installation or repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repair tasks on various systems and equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and structural components.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct infrastructure sustainment activities, including maintenance of structures surrounding facilities.
  • Repair and change locks in buildings and perform complex lock servicing to ensure maximum safety.
  • Develop supply estimates for various projects and gather technical data to support project planning and execution.
  • Assist project coordinators in planning, cost estimating, designing, and completing local projects.
  • Apply electrical, mechanical, and structural knowledge to perform duties as assigned and interpret construction and building blueprints.
Requirements
  • Vocational or High School Diploma or equivalent with five years' experience as a Maintenance Technician.
  • Specialized experience may include knowledge of the fundamentals of engineering technician work, including trade skills such as electrical, carpentry, painting, concrete, plumbing, welding, and drywall.
  • Experience in troubleshooting techniques to determine exact problems and tackle them accordingly.
  • Excellent ability to communicate system problems to both co-workers and management for proper understanding.
  • Ability to evaluate computer-related work orders in an accurate manner.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
Clearance Requirement

Must have Final Top-Secret Clearance based upon a TIER 5 Background Investigation, and favorable eligibility determination for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) IAW ICD 704.
