- Serve as the primary contact for inbound pharmacy calls, addressing non-clinical customer inquiries and minimizing workflow disruptions.
- Manage inbound and outbound calls to schedule medication deliveries and payments, ensuring accurate profile updates for timely distribution.
- Respond directly to customer inquiries or route calls to the appropriate staff for prompt resolution.
- Update progress notes to allow quick referral status assessment by other team members.
- Utilize the management information system to handle customer service tasks, including refill needs, prescription status, insurance verification, and invoice requests.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
- Call center customer service experience (no retail).
- Experience using management information systems to assist customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional phone etiquette.
- Attention to detail.
- Medical office experience or knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
- Must be willing to take a typing and customer service test.
