Job Opportunity

VocoVision is seeking a highly qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team of remote therapists. As a Speech-Language Pathologist for our Georgia-based school district, you will have the opportunity to work with students in a virtual environment, providing assessment, evaluation, and therapy services to support their communication needs.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents.
  • Deliver therapy sessions using telepractice tools to improve students' speech articulation, language comprehension, and overall communication skills.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary.
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to enhance students' communication abilities within the school environment.
Requirements
  • A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) and appropriate state licensure/certification.
  • Prior experience in educational settings or with pediatric populations is preferred.
  • Comfort and proficiency with teletherapy platforms and online tools for remote communication and documentation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, teachers, and administrators remotely.
