Position Overview
The Commercial & Real Estate Litigation Division of the New York City Law Department is seeking a skilled litigator with exceptional research and writing capabilities to represent the City and its affiliated entities in various commercial litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities
This role involves managing the Division's intricate commercial cases, which include:
1. Procurement disputes and breach of contract issues related to essential goods and services.
2. Legal challenges to significant government initiatives.
3. Claims under substantial construction contracts with private firms aimed at developing or repairing the City's infrastructure.

Additionally, the attorney will provide guidance to City agencies on procurement matters, the contractual Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) process, and other relevant issues. The Division engages in litigation across both state and federal courts, as well as before administrative bodies such as the Contract Dispute Resolution Board.

Minimum Qualifications
