Position Overview:
As a vital member of the Event Services Team, you will play a key role in enhancing the guest experience and creating memorable moments. This position requires versatility, as you may work in various capacities throughout the venue. Your responsibilities will encompass ushering, ticket verification, customer service on the concourse, and greeting attendees. You will assist guests by providing directions and sharing information, all while fostering a safe and enjoyable atmosphere.
Compensation:
This role offers an hourly wage ranging from $13.50 to $14.50.
Benefits:
Part-time employees are eligible for a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions. Additionally, employees in part-time, seasonal, and internship roles accrue one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
Venue Information:
The Rio Rancho Events Center is a versatile facility that accommodates a variety of events, including concerts, sports, and cultural programs. With a seating capacity of 7,000 and extensive floor space, it is a premier destination for entertainment in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare designated areas for guests, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
- Welcome attendees with a friendly demeanor as they enter the venue.
- Verify event tickets to ensure proper access.
- Assist guests in finding their assigned seating.
- Remain vigilant for potential hazards and report any incidents.
- Monitor assigned areas for opportunities to enhance guest experiences.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Support guests in ADA accessible seating sections.
- Enforce venue policies to maintain a secure environment.
- Manage crowd flow during events.
- Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures to assist guests if necessary.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in hospitality or entertainment is preferred but not mandatory.
- A passion for assisting and engaging with people is essential.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
