Job Title: Registered Nurse NICU

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our NICU team at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing high-quality care to critically ill neonates and will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse NICU will provide direct patient care to neonates in the NICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to neonates in the NICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide education and support to patients and families.
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or ability to obtain upon hire.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
  • Previous NICU experience preferred.
