Diagnostic Polysomnography Technician Role

Maury Regional Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Polysomnography Technician to join our team at the MRMC Multi-site Sleep Center. As a key member of our sleep health diagnostic team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive diagnostic polysomnographic testing and analysis. Your work will involve performing multiple sleep latency tests, maintenance of wakefulness tests, parasomnia studies, CPAP and oxygen titration, and other diagnostic procedures under the general supervision of a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and/or the clinical director (MD, PhD, DO) or designee.

Responsibilities and Requirements
* Conduct comprehensive diagnostic polysomnographic testing and analysis* Perform multiple sleep latency tests, maintenance of wakefulness tests, parasomnia studies, CPAP and oxygen titration, and other diagnostic procedures* Work under the general supervision of a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and/or the clinical director (MD, PhD, DO) or designee* Maintain accurate records of patient data and test results* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other departments and teams* Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on the latest techniques and technologies* Identify and report any safety concerns or hazards within the work environment* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures* Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards* Perform other duties as assigned by management*

Education and Qualifications
* Registered as a RPSGT by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists* Licensed or active temporary permit in Polysomnography Tennessee* BLS Certification* CPR Certification*
