We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at ATI. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, replace, install, adjust, and maintain all mechanical equipment in the plant, including power transmission and steam systems.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting: Effectively troubleshoot using manuals, schematics, and diagrams to diagnose and eliminate problems as they arise.
- Installation and Repair: Safely install, maintain, and upgrade 3-phase motor control systems, and AC/DC circuits, possess an understanding of basic relay logic.
- Fluid Power Systems: Understand fluid power systems; troubleshoot, install, and repair power units, valve operation, cylinders, motors, pumps.
- Basic Fabrication: Perform basic fabrication by cutting and welding operations.
- Work Area Maintenance: Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Safety and Ethics: Follow all company and equipment safety guidelines and ethics rules.
- Lift Truck Operations: Maintain lift truck operator's license, main lift, and other material handling equipment.
- Education: General HS Diploma / GED.
- Experience: At least two (2) years of trade school or equivalent experience in industrial mechanical or electrical is required.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Mechanical aptitude in complex mechanical assemblies including precision measurements.
- Blueprint Reading: Able to read and interpret blueprints.
- Welding and Equipment Operations: Knowledge of conventional welding and industrial equipment operations.
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Analytical and Detail-Oriented: Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills to maintain records, work history, and inventory of parts.
- Test Equipment: Ability to utilize meters, gauges, or other types of test equipment to facilitate quality and timely repairs.
