The Utility plays a vital role in the manufacturing process at Miller Fabrication Solutions. This position is responsible for performing general labor tasks, loading and unloading materials, and inspecting parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Claim parts and accurately document data in job tracking and quality software.
- Perform inventory tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Operate various hand tools, forklifts, and other machinery to assist in the manufacturing process.
- Inspect parts and prepping for shipment to meet specifications.
- Count, weigh, and record materials moved or handled on daily production sheets.
- Work safely and efficiently in a warehouse and fabrication shop setting.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Related experience preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and management.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
