Job Title: Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic and growing engineering consulting practice at DAV Energy Solutions Inc.

The selected applicant will conduct commissioning, retro-commissioning energy audits, and limited HVAC/Mechanical design assistance services on a variety of property types.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform commissioning services, including functional testing and building inspections for a wide array of building systems.
  • Conduct cost/benefit analyses on energy improvements and provide recommendations for implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of building HVAC, Plumbing, and Power systems, as well as ASHRAE standards and ICC Building, Mechanical, and Green Energy Codes.
  • Utilize a variety of software programs to monitor, update, and produce work products.
Requirements:
  • ABET accredited bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Commissioning certification (CxA, CCP, NEBB) a plus.
  • Excellent report writing, computer, and internet skills.
  • Excellent communication and management skills.
  • Ability to complete assignments on-time and within budget.
  • Ability to utilize ladders, scaffolding, and other vertical support systems as part of construction inspections.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and spend several hours standing at any time.
