Position Overview

As a Vehicle Body Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for restoring damaged vehicle body components and overall structures to meet the standards set by manufacturers and dealerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute repairs on vehicles based on detailed estimates and in alignment with manufacturer specifications.
  • Verify parts against estimates and ensure accurate ordering and receipt of necessary components.
  • Prepare vehicles for body repair processes, ensuring all necessary steps are taken prior to commencing work.
  • Communicate with management regarding any additional repairs that may be required.
  • Report any challenges or issues that could hinder the quality of work or alter the expected timeline.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in optimal working condition.
  • Utilize and wear all mandated safety and health personal protective equipment as recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations concerning hazardous materials, including paint and thinners, and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the repair and preparation of vehicles.
  • Stay informed about and comply with federal, state, and local regulations impacting body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA standards.
  • Operate all tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
