RadNet is seeking a highly skilled Radiology Practitioner Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and review patient referrals prior to performing exams.
- Provide complete patient information for interpreting physicians, including exam consent, health status, prescriptions, and contraindications.
- Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures under the supervision of a radiologist.
- Assist radiologists with biopsies, drainages, and other procedures as needed.
- Communicate radiologist reports to referring physicians following ACR guidelines.
Requirements:
- State license in diagnostic radiologic technology.
- State license fluoroscopy permit.
- ACLS certification.
- Must have certification from an advanced academic program through Weber State University (RPA) or a certified/approved program (RA).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
