About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Liberty Military Housing. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our residential communities, ensuring that our residents receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and direct a team of maintenance staff, including Service Technicians, Groundskeepers, and Housekeeping personnel, to ensure that maintenance operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintenance Operations: Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities, including repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance, to ensure that our properties are well-maintained and meet our high standards.
  • Staff Development and Training: Hire, train, and develop employees to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure that maintenance work is carried out to a high standard and within budget.
  • Financial Management: Manage the budget for the maintenance department, ensuring that all projects and scheduling are within budgetary guidelines.
  • Quality Control: Inspect the work of vendors and maintenance staff to ensure that it meets our quality standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, excellent communication and customer service skills, and a strong understanding of maintenance operations and facilities management principles.
  • Certifications: HVAC and EPA certifications preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 65 pounds, frequent reaching, stooping, bending, and kneeling, and extensive walking and standing.

  • Competitive Salary: $38.00 hourly plus bonus.
