About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at the Universal Service Administrative Company. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing large sets of program data to identify opportunities to improve the efficiency, integrity, and stakeholder experience of Universal Service program participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze program data to identify trends, patterns, and statistics to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain queries using SQL and other programming languages to ensure consistency and efficiency of data retrieval.
  • Research and recommend program process improvements based on data analysis.
  • Create and maintain data visualizations using Tableau and other software applications to present program insights and analysis.
  • Maintain, develop, and implement policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of USAC program data and reporting.
  • Support managers, directors, and members of the leadership team in various projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and/or relevant technical training with no preferred certification.
  • Three to four years of professionally related experience.
  • Experience in the data science field performing descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analysis and developing data products and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with other departments as needed.
  • Proven experience working with data warehoused in databases using SQL and programming languages for data science.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex analysis and results in plain English.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel, to develop reports and perform analysis.
