Lee Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Fort Myers, Florida.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in our Nuclear Medicine department. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety.
Responsibilities- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including gamma cameras and PET scanners
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records
- Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) or eligible for certification
- 1+ year of experience in Nuclear Medicine or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
