About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Healthcare Operations Manager to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the overall quality of care delivered through our hospital organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic business opportunities to produce new and continuing sources of revenue for the hospital.
  • Deliver exceptional quality and financial performance, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the development and implementation of policies and procedures that describe how patients' nursing care needs are assessed, evaluated, and met.
  • Participate in the decision-making structures and processes with leaders from the governing body, management, medical staff, and clinical areas.
  • Work closely with the executive and senior leadership team to develop and achieve fiscally responsible operational performance objectives.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or Public Administration.
  • Minimum of ten years successful senior healthcare management and financial leadership experience, preferably within an academic medical center.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively managing all aspects of clinical operations, with particular experience with financial performance in a complex matrixed healthcare organization.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing strategic business opportunities that produce new and continuing sources of revenue for the hospital.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering exceptional quality and financial performance.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated coaching and mentoring skills to effectively develop subordinates.
