Objective:
The primary focus of this role is to cultivate and enhance relationships with high-quality prospects and clients, ensuring premium pricing while managing the complete relationship and generating referrals to similar clientele. The aim is to deepen connections within the assigned portfolio through effective cross-selling, utilizing the company's established sales methodologies with precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct strategic planning sessions with a Top 100 Customer each quarter.
- Engage with Centers of Influence (COI) on a monthly basis.
- Oversee a portfolio of past due loans diligently.
- Prepare a comprehensive pre-call plan to optimize upselling opportunities before renewal meetings.
Specific Duties:
- Organize at least one annual client visit to deliver value using the level 4 Unique Selling Proposition (USP) process well in advance of contract renewals.
- Participate actively in all weekly sales meetings.
- Document a pre-call strategy for each client prior to renewal discussions to maximize upsell potential and ensure competitive pricing.
- Submit a quarterly report to management identifying clients at risk of attrition or dissatisfaction, along with actions taken and planned follow-ups.
- Provide recommendations for the Top 100/1000 list by the 15th of each month, supported by rationale for any changes based on psychographics and firmographics.
- Arrive prepared to sales meetings to support every new loan in progress and discuss any stalled deals requiring assistance.
- Bring all necessary documentation for prospects in the sales funnel.
- Transition prospects lacking recent engagement to a follow-up status and ensure next actions are scheduled.
- Maintain detailed notes in the CRM to justify actions taken on every prospect.
- Implement all elements of the Profit-Rich Sales™ process during renewal calls, including securing all necessary information and addressing any concerns.
- Review the past-due customer list bi-weekly and report action steps to relevant departments, updating the plan weekly for visibility.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all compliance documentation.
- Present a call/sales process plan for all referrals to the sales manager each quarter.
- Accurately log all client and prospect interactions in the CRM by the end of each Wednesday.
- Meet or exceed performance standards for Loan Officers, including sales and quality goals set by leadership.
- Engage in community activities to enhance the bank's visibility.
- Participate in marketing initiatives to promote banking products and services.
