We are seeking a highly skilled Agricultural & Commercial Lender II to join our team at German American State Bank. As a key member of our lending team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our agricultural and commercial customers, providing expert guidance on financial solutions, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive business plans to achieve sales goals and drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agricultural and commercial customers, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored financial solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements to provide expert guidance to customers.
- Manage a portfolio of agricultural and commercial loans, ensuring timely payment and minimizing risk.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers' businesses, identifying opportunities to provide additional products and services.
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of business plans.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, finance, or agriculture.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in agricultural or commercial lending, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural and commercial lending principles, including credit analysis and risk management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer needs and requests.
- Business Acumen: Demonstrate a deep understanding of business principles, including financial analysis and risk management.
