Position Overview

Cooperative Counseling Services (CCS) is a leading Family Behavioral Health Organization dedicated to enhancing the well-being of under-served populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. We are currently seeking full-time, clinically licensed professionals in New Jersey (LCSW or LPC) to become integral members of our outpatient team. This role provides a favorable work-life balance with opportunities for remote work and in-person collaboration. Evening availability is required, and weekends and on-call duties are not part of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver short-term, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals and groups.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine clients' needs, interpret psychiatric and behavioral health conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Engage actively in multidisciplinary treatment team discussions.
  • Collaborate with psychiatric professionals and fellow clinicians to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Evaluate clients to recommend suitable levels of care and connect them with external services as necessary.
  • Create and adjust individualized service plans based on assessment outcomes.
  • Work alongside community providers, agencies, and educational institutions to facilitate comprehensive treatment and discharge planning.
  • Provide families with information about available community resources.
  • Maintain accurate case documentation in compliance with New Jersey state regulations and CCS standards.
  • Document clinical notes and relevant information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system promptly.
  • Submit billing for services rendered in accordance with performance metrics.
  • Ensure timely commencement and conclusion of therapy sessions.
  • Encourage family involvement in therapy and apply evidence-based practices in family counseling.
  • Assist in mentoring and supervising non-licensed Master's level clinicians and interns, as well as coordinating training sessions.
  • Develop specialized programs tailored to the needs of the populations served.
  • Conduct chart audits and adhere to established chart management protocols.
  • Meet or exceed organizational performance and productivity benchmarks.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology.

Current, valid New Jersey State Clinical License (LCSW or LPC) in good standing.

A minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience with diverse populations.

Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.

Availability to work evenings to accommodate client schedules.

Bilingual candidates (Spanish) are preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Effective communication skills are essential, with regular use of telecommunication and email. Normal hearing and vision capabilities are required. The role does not involve heavy lifting, but may require occasional exertion of up to 10 lbs. Proficiency in using standard office equipment is necessary.
